Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 17, 2026 · MorSal S.A.S. (Inversiones MorSal S.A.S.)
This Cookie Policy explains how MorSal S.A.S. uses cookies and similar technologies on morsal.co. Read it with the Privacy Policy and the Personal Data Processing Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files your browser stores on your device. “Similar technologies” include local storage and tags with the same function.
2. Legal basis and approach
When a cookie collects personal data, its use requires your prior, express and informed authorization (Law 1581 of 2012). So we use only two categories: strictly necessary cookies, always on because the site cannot work without them, and analytics cookies, which are off by default and set only if you authorize them. We do not use advertising, remarketing or social-media tracking cookies.
3. Cookies we use
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Category | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| morsal_consent | MorSal (first-party) | Stores your cookie choices | Strictly necessary | 6 months |
| morsal_pref | MorSal (first-party) | Remembers the language/region you pick manually; only created when you use the language or region selector | Strictly necessary (user-requested preference) | 12 months |
| __cf_bm | Cloudflare | Bot detection and site security, if enabled on our account | Strictly necessary | 30 minutes |
| _ga | Google Analytics 4 | Distinguishes visitors to produce aggregated statistics | Analytics (consent) | Up to 2 years |
| _ga_<ID> | Google Analytics 4 | Keeps session state for analytics | Analytics (consent) | Up to 2 years |
The contact form stores a short log in your browser’s local storage to limit submissions and prevent spam (morsal_form_log); it holds only timestamps and never leaves your device.
4. Your choices
On your first visit a banner lets you accept all, reject non-essential or customize, with equal prominence. You can change or revoke your choice anytime via (also in the footer). Revoking turns Analytics off and removes its cookies from your device.
Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a GPC signal we treat it as a refusal of non-essential cookies until you choose otherwise.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some essential functions, such as remembering your choices, may stop working.
5. Third parties and international transfer
Google Analytics is operated by Google LLC (United States) and loads only after you authorize it; by doing so you authorize transmission of that data to the United States. We configure Analytics without Google signals or advertising features. See how Google uses data and the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
6. Updates
We will update this policy if the cookies we use change and reflect the date above. If a change requires new authorization we will ask again.
